Are you interested in meeting, sharing ideas with, and learning from ZBT brothers from your region of the country? Are you interested in meeting, sharing ideas with, and learning from ZBT leaders and staff members? Are you interested in learning leadership and management tactics, methods for sustaining and growing your chapter/colony, or how to address apathy among your members? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then you should plan to attend one of ZBT’s Regional Conclaves or Dover Days. By attending one of these programs, you will learn how to incorporate the Fraternity’s mission and values into the day-to-day programming and operations of your chapter/colony. You will have the opportunity to share ideas and resources with other undergraduate leaders in your region. Chapter/Colony officers and chairmen will have the opportunity to share ideas and learn from men who hold the same positions in other chapters/colonies.
Regional Conclaves are held in February and address all aspects of chapter development and management including: ritual, recruiting men who live ZBT’s values, THE JOURNEY, building a strong brotherhood, risk management, tools to help each chapter become a powerhouse, and alumni engagement. An added feature of the longer program is the inclusion of mentor meetings with a Fraternity staff member or volunteer to talk about chapter goals, the chapter standards program, and to develop an action plan for the coming year.
Also held in February, the ZBT Credo serves as the foundation for the Dover Days. Each Dover Day will concentrate on all aspects of the Credo and have a unique in-depth focus. Topics for Dover Days Include:
Regional Conclaves and Dover Days are open to all members of ZBT. The curriculum is designed to teach general leadership and chapter management skills and includes specific tools for action planning and chapter success. All members from new initiates to newly elected chapter officers to seasoned chapter leaders will benefit from the program and will contribute to the community formed throughout the event. The Regional Conclaves are made possible by a generous grant from the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation. |
