Zeta Beta Tau - Staff Liaison Program
At the ZBT Headquarters we find it of the utmost importance to be as accessible as possible to our undergraduates. In an effort to provide top-notch chapter servicing, each professional staff member employed by ZBT serves as a staff liaison to a grouping of chapters and colonies. It is the responsibility of this staff member to keep current on all matters relating to their assigned chapters and should keep in regular communication with the chapter’s leadership and advisors. Some of the things your staff liaison should be doing include:
- Setting up monthly conference calls with the undergraduate leadership
- Providing the leadership with important dates and upcoming deadlines
- Assisting in the training process of new officers and chairmen
- Addressing challenges and concerns brought forward by the chapter leadership
- Helping to publicize successes and accomplishments of each chapter
- Working with the undergraduate leadership to successfully program in the areas of social, athletics, bonding, alumni, service, and education
- When possible, visiting the chapter or colony
The ZBT Staff Commitment:
- To initiate communication and learn about the chapter
- To create a plan which best meets the needs of the chapter
- To keep all constituents up-to-date on the chapter and how they can help
- To follow through with commitments made to the chapter
- To articulate to our chapters the resources available from the headquarters
- To maintain regular and consistent communication
- To provide genuine, supportive, and honest feedback
